Situated in Rutland, England’s smallest county, midway between the market towns of Oakham and Uppingham, 5 miles from Rutland Water and approximately 10 miles from Stamford, America Lodge is in a beautiful setting with spectacular views over the Chater valley.
Its central position in the country, close to the A1, makes it perfect for family get togethers, group reunions or anyone wanting to enjoy the multiple attractions and activities of Rutland.
Rutland fully lives up to its county motto, 'Multum in Parvo' ('much in little'). It has an outstanding range of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. Rutland Water may be the most well-known star of the show but there's so much more: gentle sightseeing, historic houses and museums, galleries and exhibitions, theatre.
